Wore this yesterday. Black again! And oh, see the very fashionable ironing board and bathrobes in the first pictures? Nice job Maja!

Anyway, I really like the maxi cardigan. I bought it in a little secondhand store with two friends and it was only only about $4 (20 dkk)! It's really good when I want to layer my clothing, and because I have to wear something underneath it I wear it with short dresses most of the time. I love when people wear sort/long combinations, so I thought it was my time to give it a go.

Oversized cardigan/kimono - mom's old, dress - H&M, silver belt - vintage, shoes - Acne.

Put this look together some days ago. I like drapping, so I draped the cardigan/kimono-thingy but it's not really visible in these photos. Also, black in black - always. I love wearing black, really. But I would like to get better at wearing colors. Maybe that should be my new mission? To incorporate a little dash of color to my outfits? I think I'll try.

Shirt - secondhand, belt - mom's old.

I love to wear an oversize, slouchy shirt with a tiny, tiny belt in the waist. Creates a good silhouette. I found the shirt at a thrift shop with Louise some weeks ago, and I really like it. It's a bit sheer, in a nice way and it has an adorable little collar.

I bought these big, beautiful earrings in Sweden last week. They reminded me of my number one style icon - Edie Sedgwick. I'll wear them with my hear up and just a black dress, so they'll be the centre. And the price was nothing to complain about - only about $15, which is 80 danish kroner in Glitter.

DIY PROJECTS: TUTORIALS

I thought it would be a good idea to do a little how-to guide on some of my selfmade things. Please comment if there's other of my DIY's that you want a tutorial on. (DIY = Do It Yourself)

STONE NECKLACE:

Use: Wire (steel wire in goden, silver - the color is up to you!), a nice stone or gem, a necklace ( I prefer them long).

Directions: Start wrapping the wire around the stone and keep doing that until the stone feels "secure" in the wire. Like it will not fall out. Then, make a little loop with the wire for the necklace. Get the necklace through the loop and - you're done!

RIPPED T-SHIRT:

Use: A plain t-shirt (I find H&M's basic t-shirts from the male department the best to rip), a scissor, maybe a needle, lots and lots of patience.

Directions: I find it really hard to explain, but here's a good tutorial (Press link)

PEACOCK FEATHER EARRINGS:

Use: Two peacock feathers (Those long ones, you know), a pair of earrings like these (link), some string, a scissor.

Directions: Cut the long peacock feather into shorter ones (like in picture above) and simply wrap the string around the top of the feather until it feels like the feather is secured. Then secure the feather to the earring with the string. And done!

SAFETYPIN CROSS T-SHIRT:

(Not the best picture of the shirt, but in style of Pelayo's divine shirt (link)

Use: A plain top/t-shirt, a lot of safetypins (I ordered about 200 on the internet).

Directions: It's easy but takes a lot of time. Simply start pinning the needles in the shirt right next to each other. Shape a cross.

FOX TAIL KEYCHAIN:

Use: A fox tail (I think you can buy them in fur-stores, but also on the internet), a little round key ring like the ones you carry your keys in, a scissor.

Directions: Make a little hole in the foxtail with the scissor and loop/put the little key ring into the hole. Now, it's done. Put it on a bag like I did, or something completely different.

My look from last Saturday... Or last saturday again? Haha, I don't know. Time flies these days. I look a bit odd on these pictures, though. Ha ha.

I'm wearing my beloved Modekungen sweater with the big "Coco" on it. I've been getting a lot of questions about it through time, so let me tell you the story of my little grey sweater: Once upon a time (about a year ago) I bought it from Modekungen.se and I've loved it ever since. Unfortunately, I don't think it's in stock any more, I can't find it on the homepage.

So, really changing subject now. Tomorrow morning, I'm going to my Leonora's summer cottage (in this case, winter cottage, ha ha) in Sweden since I'm having vacation. So I will not be blogging for about a week or so. But I promise I will return with one or more outfitposts and a lot of pictures!

I got this new, slightly sheer Acne top and I really love it. It's very simple, but that's how I like it. There have been kind of silent on the blog these past days but I'm still sick. It sucks!

Sometimes, only half of my pictures show, I've been told, so I'm trying out uploading my pictures to Photobucket instead of Tinypick, I hope that helps!

Just ordered the beyond lovely leather turban (Yes, a leather turban!) from Carin Wester. And oh, this was a cheap find! It is originally 600 SEK (about $91) but I got it one sale for 180 SEK (about $27!) on Carins Wester's homepage. That's 70% off the original price. Quite a scoop, huh?

It was sold out in black, and since I've already got a black turban which I've worn like a maniac, I thought it would be nice to go with the kind of creme/rosy/white color turban. I can't wait for it to arrive! I know it'll be perfect for summer, because I (as any other person, haha) will be wearing tons of white garments.

DIY: STONE NECKLACE

The DIY I told you about in the last post. This necklace! I really like the rich, purple color of the stone (it's an amethyst) and I think the necklace turned out good.

Making these kind of necklaces is actually very easy (as if you couldn't figure that out yourself, ha ha) All you need is some wire, some kind of stone you like and ofc. a necklace. You wrap the wire around the stone and make one or two little loops for the necklace. Done in 5 minutes!

DIY: KNIT SHORTS

I tought I'd show you my new DIY - a pair of highwaisted knit shorts. Truly inspired by these Topshop beauties (link) who unfortunately weren't in stock in my size. So yesterday I sat down an sewed these, and it was surprisingly easy. I made these from a lonely sweater from the back of my closet. I like the result, even though you can't really tell how they really look in these photos. Actually, I'm sitting with a DIY-project right now too, and I hope it's going to turn out nice! If if does, I'll show you.

Hey guys! How are you? I can't believe last time I posted was Wednesday. It feels like yesterday - time just rushes by these days. School, friends, family, homework etc. You know all the excuses! But I really will try to blog more, because one time every 4th day isn't good enough.

I wore the outfit above yesterday when I drank mint tea and smoothies on one of my favorite cafés The Living Room with Helena. I don't think I'll ever stop wearing black - just as much as I want to wear colorful outfits, I always end up wearing black. I really do love black.

I'm wearing the tight Acne dress that I got for Christmas which I've been living in since then. The cardigan is borrowed from my friend, I love these kind of draped cardigans! Else it's the usual Dr. Martens, vintage rings and wraistlet.

Most amazing dress in my wardrobe, no doubt. This tight, black, textures baby is from Acne, and it sure is great. This was really a big wish too, so you can imagine my joy when I found out this was underneath the Christmas tree.

In this post last, but definitely not last - the thing I wished for the most (also the most debated item in history on my formspring) - a fur! I'm in love. This amazing vintage fur that I actually picked out myself (which means no surprise when I unwrapped it) is just what I wanted. Sigh. You'll see this in action soon, promise.

So, that was basically my Christmas presents, even though I also got some other stuff, like things for my hair, some clothing, underwear and my dad's old iPhone etc. I had a nice Christmas with my family, eating tons of food, singing the usual Christmas songs and doing all the nice Christmas things. I hope, that if you do celebrate Christmas, yours was just as nice. Note: not showing my presents to brag, but because this was highly requested.

Lovely sheer shirt from Ilse Jacobsen - I found it in a little vintage shop and got it for about $20.

Mini dress (also showed you a few posts down) I love this one. Got it for about $4. That's what I call a bargain!

Silver bodystocking - reminds me of Sienna Miller as Edie Sedgwick in the movie Factory Girl, and since I'm obsessed with Edie Sedgwick I had to get it. It's from the same little boutique as the shirt on the first picture and was about $20 too.

Bad picture of something pretty wonderful. This oversized, structured knit is beyond comfortable and I like the green color (the color looks weird on the photo due to bad lightning). I got it for the ridiculous price of $2.5.

I'm in love with this sheer dress. So flowy and light. Got it for $7.

It's hard to tell what this is by looking at the picture, but it's this beautiful, sheer maxi skirt. Actually, it's an underskirt so I'll let it peek out underneath my maxidresses as well. Very good for layering, because of the fabric's light texture - it almost looks fragile.

I also bought a necklace, a pair of pants and something quite exiting... Stay tuned!

My good friend Louise and I got the idea to color our hair in these blue and red colors - she got red, I got blue. It was very fun, and here's the result. It was just some wash-out spray color, but it looked pretty cool. Also, I painted my lips with my new dark red Mas lipstick called "Hang Up".

Really, I just want to thank you. I realized that I've never really thanked you. I'm not going to make this a really ceremonious post, but I think it's important to say these things. This was what I wore today for a family gathering. It was so, so, so cold taking these pictures! I wore my new, beloved Carin Wester shoes, and I just realized - it's the first time they're in action in an outfit post! Also, I'm hooked on the idea of wearing different shades of grey, so I put on my Moschino cardigan (Has this ever been on the blog? No, I don't think so) and my fur vest. The black dress is also brand new. I bought it in H&M the other day, but I must admit you can't really see it properly under all those layers.

Someone requested that I did something like this - ideas for outfits for all the upcoming parties. Since christmas, new years eve and a lot of other occasions for dressing up is just around the corner we girls (and boys ofc.) must certainly stand together and try to share good outfit-ideas! Since I always find choosing a part outfit difficult, because I always end up being totally overdressed (but it's okay, I've gotten used to it now.) I usually just end up throwing on my always-safe-look. A little black dress. Of course. What else?

I like wearing just a little black dress, a pair of funny high heels, my hair down, a dark purple lipstick on my lips, a jacket/chunky cardigan and then a little silver jewelry (big silver earrings - latest obsession!) to sweeten it up a bit.

Tell me, do you have any good ideas for party-outfits? Would be greatly appreciated.

The incredibly fashionable Maja tells us about living in Denmark, her favorite pieces from her wardrobe and her love for sushi. She is one seriously stylish teen, who blogs regularly about her latest items and outfits.

1. How would you describe your style?
I would describe my style as quite mixed. I guess I'm a combination of an old lady with fur coats, jewels and nice dresses and a crazy teenager . Yes, that would be me.

2. What is your favourtie outfit you've posted on your blog?
Uhm. That one's tough! I guess I like my all-black outfits the most because they always work. But else I would say this.

3. Tell us your favorite things about the place you live, and where your favorite place to travel is and why?
I live in Denmark and here's pretty cool. We've got great vintage boutiques and good food, haha. Even though I like Denmark I always feel like traveling. My favorite place is New York! Where else?! I've only been there once, but I seriously fell in love. The whole atmosphere was great, just how I like it. Always something exciting going on or some crazy people on the streets.

4. Who / what / where inspires you?
My grandma inspires me. I think she has great style. It's very classic, but with a twist. Also, the streets of Copenhagen are the place to go when you're 0% inspired. Here there are always inspirational people walking around.

5. What is your most worn item in your closet?
My most worn pieces must be my Acne Atacoma shoes or my Balenciaga bag. Clothing-wise it must be a simple LBD (little black dress). Goes with everything, a must-have!

6. How do you put together an outfit?
I would love to say something really fancy, but I'm not that fancy at all. I stand in front of my closet, grab some pieces and try them on. I always feel like wearing layers and wearing different materials/textures, so it usually takes quite a while for me to get dressed, because I always layer, layer, layer.

7. Your top beauty/hair must haves and tips?
I don't even know if this exists in other places than Denmark, but my beauty must-have is Vaseline. I use it for my lips, my brows and even on my eyes now and then. I'm addicted!

8. Describe your perfect day.
Waking up, no school, it's Saturday. Inviting over some friends, eat good food and just chill. Or go shopping with friends - that's always nice. But to be honest, the best days are the days you don't expect anything exciting to happen, you expect absolutely nothing. And then something happens, maybe you meet up with friends, and then the day turns into something fantastic. I love that. I wish I could live my life with no expectations at all.

9. If you needed to start your wardrobe again, what items would you get and where would you go shopping?
Depends on my money-situation! If I had the money I would go to Acne and buy all my basics - white, black and grey tops & t-shirts, well-fit jeans, a knitted cardigan and a pair of killer-shoes. Then I would go find a really nice, good quality leather bag and some simple jewelry. Then I would have everything needed.

10. Can you tell us 5 random facts about you?
♥ I always sleep with my hair in a bun, always!
♥ I cry while watching 500 Days of Summer. It's such a good movie. Sob.
♥ I use size 37 in shoes.
♥ Sometimes I pretend to sleep when I really don't.
♥ I've got a Sponge Bob cover on my Iphone.

11. Favorite food?
I love all kinds of food. But sushi is great! Sushi must be the answer then. (Sorry pasta!)

BLACK FRINGE DEMIN

These shorts from Bitching & Junkfood are ridiculously cool! I found them when looking through Urban Outfitters homepage, and I instantly fell in love. I wouldn't style them like on the pictures above, though. I would pull them off with black tights, Atacomas and my transparent H&M shirt. So, as I sat there, drooling all over my computer while imagining them hanging in my closet, I decided that instead of buying them I would make them into a DIY-project. Since I'm sick today I had plenty of time on my hands, so I took a pair of old shorts, some black fabric and started sewing. They are not totally finished yet, but when they are - I'll show you. Cross your fingers for a good result!

These really cool, snakeskin-ish, structured wedges called "Monroe" from Carin Wester are going to be as glued on my feet for a long time - I'm sure about that! An outfitpost! Gee, it's been ages. I looked like this part time today - I was doing something very exiting after school, but I can't tell you... not yet!

I felt like layering today, so I put on this. Don't I always say that? I felt like layering. I guess I always feel like layering. for layering, black in black is and will always be my favorite combination. And then with a twist of silver - you've got me.

The black, draped cardigan is new - or old if you will. I bought it in a secondhand shop for like $6, and I love it! It's really comfy and super for layering. I like it over my studded American Retro jacket. The jacket is so heavy and metal-ish while the cardigan is much more light and flowy, and together it gives this weird effect. I hope you've been enjoying your day as much as I have. Love!

To be honest I thought I would like the collection - I mean Lanvin for H&M, come on. But somehow I'm disappointed. I think all the other H&M designer collaborations have been great, but I'm not crazy about this one. Girly one-shoulder dresses in flower-prints or neon colors like hot pink and yellow– we’ve seen this before haven’t we? Dressed up with purple lipstick and played around - ended up with these photos, a big bunch I know! It was really difficult shaking my head to get the "flowy" hair effect exactly when the camera took the photo without looking like I don't know what, but I think they turned out pretty fun. Today I went running again for the first time in a long while - it was really nice to get some exercise! Right now I'm sitting in my bed with a big cup of Pukka's licorice tea - yummy!

Hey guys! Sorry for the infrequent blogging - I've been busy enjoying my holiday. I came home from Spain this night (slept like zero hours, bah) But Spain was great and I think I'll post a photodiary, but I don't know yet.

I've been shopping a lot in Spain and here's one of the things I bought - these boots. A pair of bikerboots has been on my wishlist for quite a while now, but I couldn't find the perfect pair. Now I've found them, and I love them. I bought them in a big mall where I certainly didn't expected to find anything, and they were really cheap. Win! What do you think?

Guess where I am right now? In Spain! I totally forgot to tell you guys, but I'm my grandparents house on Mallorca. It's lovely, and the weather's great! My room here looks like this. Very simple and with a raw edge. I love it! My grandparents decorated it, and I think they did a great job. The bed is just underneath the roof, and it's like one of those caves little children always build. Yesterday I sat up there all evening watching SATC. Sweet! What I wore some days ago. No rocket-science here, just a simple outfit. Really comfy! Actually, it was really difficult taking these pictures, because the sunlight came in my eyes all the time! Anyway, I'm wearing my new, very nice suede moccasins that I bought on my local fleamarket (I'm there too often!) I really felt like layering that day, so I wore two jackets on top of each other, and I really liked the result. Well... I already got a lot of messages about it on formspring, mail etc. so I thought I should just get to it. A while ago, I was photographed for the cover of a danish magazine for young people called "Vi Unge". The people from Vi Unge had seen me on my blog, and contacted me. They styled me and picked out my clothes, then we shot the photos in a forrest. It was so fun, and a great experience! Vi Unge is in the danish stores now, for 37 danish kroner. Somehow it was pretty weird to write this post, but I hope you like the cover! I know the clothes aren't something I would normally wear, but still... What do you think?

Love how the glasses were arranged at the place I ate brunch today called "Midpoint".

All rings are vintage, except the one far right (my left hand) which is from a museum.

It's unbelievably difficult to skateboard in high heels, maybe mostly because I've got absolutely no idea how to skate.

Somehow I find coconuts beautiful. This photo was taken in "Kødbyen" (the danish Meatpacking district?) where my family and I walked around and visited different artist's ateliers.

How old are you? I'm 14 years old.

What facewash/lotion, etc. do you use? I'm using the "Basis Sensitive moisturizing cream" from Lavera every morning and night. I recommend it 100%, it's so good!

Why are you writing in english when you're danish? I've been writing english on this blog as long as I can remember, and that's mostly because most people worldwide can read english.

Which country do you come from? I come from Denmark and I've lived here all my life!

How do you get your hair to do what it does? Um.. I don't really do that much. I wash it - ofc. and I usually let it air dry.

How do you make ripped tee's? I'm not going to tell you yet, because I though of doing a ripped tee giveaway, and telling how to do it would kind of ruin the excitement.

Do you live in Copenhagen? Yes, I do!

What are the best fleamarkets in Copenhagen? I would recommend the flea market behind Frederiksberg's city hall, which is every Saturday in the summer-period!

... Wore this today, except the Atacomas are only photographed for the sake of the picture. I actually wore the world's most comfortable shoes - my old Nike sneakers. The pants are new - I just bought them. I've been looking for a pair of leather pants for quite a while, and when I found these from H&M I fell in love. They were only about $35! It's not real leather, but looks like it is. Today I've been hanging with a dear friend and I've doing homework with good music in my ears.

NEW IN I actually bought this 80's, suede, leopard jacket a pretty long time ago - just never showed it to you. I bought it in Jagtvej 199 a fabulous secondhand store. It was $35 - pretty much a bargain.

The shoes I bought on my local fleamarket today. I love them! And best of all - they were $4! I'll style them with suitpants for a minimalistic workwear-look, or with leather shorts and a flowy shirt. I also bought a sequin top and a vest. I'll show you later. What do you think about the items? xx

I NEVER FEEL LONELY, BECAUSE YOU'RE ALWAYS WITH ME

WARNING: LONG POST COMMING UP. As far as I remember, one of you asked about "style advice" in the post below. So here we go - some thing I think about when I put together a look or when I'm shopping. This is just from my point of view, and I hate pretending to know more about this than you guys - because you are all so stylish. But here we go, enjoy lovelies.

1) BASIC - It's a beginning to get a cliché, but basic clothing is the sh*t. Personally I have tons of simple $6 tees and tops from H&M. I also got more luxe basic tees from Prada or American Vintage. Those I've bought because they stay in shape longer than the H&M ones. But I won't complain about the H&M basic tees - I truly recommend them. The colors I prefer are black, white, camel and grey. You can style them up and down, and my personal favorite - use them for layering. I love wearing a lot of layers and a basic tee or a top is perfect for layering. You decide if you'r basic tops and tees should be from Alexander Wang or H&M.

2) GOOD FIT - You're tempted - jeans on 50% off. You quickly grab a pair in what looks like you'r size and buy them. I've tried that too many times - it's a nogo! I always try on jeans before I buy them, because I hate when jeans doesn't fit me properly. A pair of good, well fit jeans are worth gold and can save any outfit, while a pair of weird, ment-to-be-skinny-but-they're-two-sizes-too-big jeans are just the opposite for me!

3) VINTAGE - You know me, I love vintage. I know many of you love vintage, but some of you probably hate it, or don't want to wear something that someone's worn before you. But if you're tempted about the idea of going vintage you should def. do it! When I'm in vintage/thrift stores I almost always find something. I love finding really old things, that you can't buy in stores nowadays. Some of my nicest dresses I've found in little thrift stores. I also love vintage because you can find things that can make any outfit more personal, and make you stand out from the crowd! I would recommend looking for leather bags, shorts & belts, because leather only gets more beautiful when used. Also hats, scarfs and jewelry are something I always look for in vintage/thrift stores and on flea markets.

4) ACCESSORIES - Personally, I love accessories (as any other girl, I believe) I always wear rings to complete my looks. A piece of jewelry can pimp up any outfit - even from little necklaces to giant statement ones. But as much as I love jewelry - earrings, rings, necklaces, bracelets and so on - it can easily get too much. Too many jewelry on one girl can be so distracting! I think it's important to let you'r outfit get some attention too. One of my dear friends always wear the right amount of jewelry and when I asked her how to "dose" the jewelry she said "I always put on a hell lot of jewelry in the morning, but I have a rule how to control it. I always take off half of the jewelry's I put on. It always works." And it's true! I use the method now and then, when I feel like I'm wearing to many jewels.

5) MIX FABRICS - This is just a little something I always think about when I put together a look. I like the effect of mixing fabrics, and I try to do it in every outfit. Mixing jersey with leather, fur with silk or knit with sequins. It always notice peoples look when they are excitingly put together. I also like layering different fabrics, like a jersey top underneath a leather shirt or something. All the little details count when putting together a look.

The thing is. I've fallen in love. Truly and deeply. My heart beats too fast, I can't think of anything else. And I knew from the start that it would be dangerous. That I had to do anything to not fall in love. Because falling in love is never easy. And I've fallen in love. Who? you might ask. Once again. I've fallen in love with Acne. First the Atacomas, now the Admires. The armygreen Admires. Oh em gee. Tried them on in Acne some days ago. I knew it was a bad idea! I gotta have those babies in my life. Anyway, I'm completely broke - so I thought of selling some clothing. I have Dolce & Gabbana shirts, a pair of Maloles flats, a bunch of Topshop stuff etc. that I don't use anymore. Would you guys be interested in me opening a salesblog?

First of all - I'm so, so, so sorry for the bad blogging I've been doing lately!

Today was lovely. My family and I went on a little trip to Christiania. We ate lunch there and I shot a bunch of photos. Anyway, just a couple days ago I bought this jacket! It certainly doesn't look it's best on these photos - I don't know what's wrong, looks so much better in reality. Anyway, I found it in a random fur/leather store on my way home from a friend. I love it! It's going to be hanging on me the whole fall/winter. It's real leather so it's damn hot. And another + about it was the price - $53!
